God's greatness

I wrote this poem about the greatest choice I ever made.

I chose you today
Didn’t wait till I’m old and gray
To say you are the way
Doesn’t matter what the people say
Only you I obey
Don’t care what the world says is okay
But knowing the joy and peace you brought my way
I won’t sway
But stay in the path and not stray

You marvelous molder of clay
I praise you each day
Despite the circumstances that come my way
In your arms I will stay
I know in following the world there is a price to pay
A price that money can never pay away

Your awesome ray
Shines on me and I can truly say
It’s a brand new day
I already know I will be betrayed
But my eyes are set on judgment day
And the words you will say
That you are glad I did like Burger King and had it your way

For those who sway I pray
You find your way
To the peace and joy you’ll find each day
All you have to do is choose Christ today
And everything will be okay
